STORY OF MY LIFE IN SEARCH OF LOVE PART 1

It started like every other day ,Ita the  in sun rose as usual and the cock crowed and everything was normal until he sent me a chat via  Yahoo Messenger, this was in 2006, I was online that day because, then I  working with one of the banks in Lagos. On this faithful day, a handsome guy caught my attention when he chatted me up with so much vibes and that was how it all started.

We started chatting and later exchanged numbers along the line, it was at this point i noticed he stays abroad and when i asked that, this number isn't a Nigerian number he said yes, i base in the UK.

Fast forward to 2007 when we lost contact as, we never saw ourselves one on one except on video calls. We lost contact and every attempt to reach him via email and call was futile. I had to pull myself together because at this moment, I have fallen deeply in love with him and couldn't help myself and worst of it I don't even know any of his people. So it was one thought after another, depression gradually setting in , I was losing it but couldn't do anything,so I moved on .

Fast forward to 2009, as usual surfing the internet and I noticed a new message DM, it was him. Immediately I told him to stay clear and not try explaining anything because, I wasn't ready for another drama and he pleaded to get my number that, a lot happened to him in the past years. How he lost his brother, sister and dad in the space of a year etc You know the usual super story and of course I was naive.

I got emotional and gave him my number to call, he called to say he will be back in 3days that, he will come see me immediately he arrives and I said okay.

Truly he arrived in 3days and called for direction to my office as, it was a working day. He came to my office on the fourth day and we had a little face to face discussion and agreed to meet on that weekend to continue our discussion.

On that weekend, I gave him direction to my house, reason being that I'm an introvert and preferred the comfort of my home.

My elder sister was around with her friend for a visit from their base and when he arrived, I introduced him to my sister and her friend as a friend and asked him to meet my big sis you know that kind introduction..I did it with my full chest.

He was a free spirit and never behaved like a stranger.  He told us how he was deported in 2008 without anything and when he got home, thinking he had what to fall back on, his brothers have used all the money he has been sending and couldn't account for it which, was the main reason he couldn't reach me as, he doesn't know if I will accept him with his condition that, he couldn't just face me with all that. (Chai and I fell for it)

On hearing all these, I was touched as, he also apologized for everything that happened and said he is here to make amends and I said to myself that, if truly he is genuine, I will work with him as a team mate and will make him forget all he went through.(what do I know)

He returned to base and we where still in touch, he gave me his home address to go home and meet his siblings and nieces (all orphans) and in April 2010, I went to his home town for Easter holiday and it was fun.  I could remember a day I was coming back from morning mass and my sandal misbehaved as a village girl, I had to walk barefooted home (laugh) it was fun to be in the village, I enjoyed the firewood cooking though, except the smoke, lol. Before this visit, he was owing someone money i don't know how it happened but, I wanted peace and gave the person sixty thousand before traveling to his home town.

After my holiday with them, one of them followed me to the park and i did a withdrawal to settle them all before hitting the road. Back to Lagos, the journey began.
