GIVING UP ON LOVE?
To the ones who are happy Love is the most beautiful but to those whose hearts has been shattered Love is wicked..
But is Love really wicked or the ones who profess the love ?
During your younger days when all the answers to your questions are found in nursery rhymes, you might have even had a childhood crush, innocent crush , you share your sweet and biscuits with, you hold tiny hands together and the world was perfect...then teenage years came and you still had a crush , wrote love letters, blushed at the sight of each other,made promises you see Emeka Ike promising Genevieve and you even imagine you were going to get married after secondary school awwww poor you and to you everything was perfect and nothing else mattered...to you love was perfect but today we all have different songs... some sing lullabies others Lamentations but is that enough to give up on love yet?
Yes, you may have been unlucky in your past relationships as an adult, fake promises,fake love fake everything but does that mean that's all there is is in the world, hey cheer up there are better days ahead, a friend once told me that we don't stop drinking water simply because water killed our relative same goes for love we don't stop having a good heart or fall in love just because we had a rough start... before you give up remember there was a time you said one day of this love was worth dying for, so you should be thankful you felt such feeling and if they left then it's their loss not yours, you are still awesome, beautiful, strong and amazing, you are a complete package, doctor's prescription and should they fail to take their prescription it's their loss.
I know probably you don't want to hear this anymore but there's someone for everyone and when you find yours you will appreciate other relationships that failed, all the pain gone ,new memories created,new song on your lips and then it'll all make sense.
Don't give up yet.. look from the brighter side and while waiting for the perfect one improve on yourself, their leaving may also have something to do with your attitude,love yourself more for you can't give what you don't have..
May love find you again and may you see the sun again.
